We needed a kitchen. We had just purchased a great 1903 historic home in Forest Hill Newark that was beautiful, except for the small 1940's servant style kitchen. We interviewed a few contractor's and decided to go with RD & Son because they really listened to what we wanted and came back with a fair price. Todd and Rich made extra efforts to get us the custom cabinet color we were looking for, a white washed grey. They had great suggestions that complimented our ideas throughout the project. Todd meticulously built intricate trim throughout our kitchen to match the historic house, not because we asked him... He did it because it was important to him to maintain the integrity of the property. Todd is a true craftsman - If you want it, he can build it. The team of professionals that they brought in were top notch.

RD & Son Contractors did a beautiful job on my upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. We had two leaks in both our shower floor and in the pipes in our upstairs bathroom, which leaked into our downstairs bathroom. What a mess! I called RD & Son, and they immediately put my mind at ease. Having three children, I was in panic mode because I thought that I was not going to be able to utilize either of my bathrooms for an extended period of time. However, RD & Son were able to make the repairs and renovations in a very timely manner, allowing us the ability to utilize the downstairs bathroom in the evenings throughout their repairs.

Our new bathroom upstairs is beautiful and our downstairs bathroom is repaired and is as good as new! Honestly, our upstairs bathroom is now my favorite room in the house. RD & Son Contractors are reliable, trustworthy, honest and do very beautiful work. I would recommend them to anyone!

We have used Rich and Tod (RD & Son Contractors) for a total kitchen remodel in 2011. Then again in 2014-15 for a dormer on our Cape Cod. The upstairs had only two bedrooms with small closets. The dormer opened the upstairs to include a bathroom with a beautiful walk in shower, and walk in closets in both bedrooms. Recently we called on RD again to update our first floor bathroom with a new vanity, granite, and hardware. After the kitchen remodel, we knew the quality of work and the professionalism of completing the job. Rich and Todd treated us like family. They were there to offer advice in the remodels. We had a powder room built from scratch. Its almost done and looking great! They, along with Windheim plumbing and Lenny Salerno electric have made me a lovely little room. They are without a doubt the Best contractors we ever used. On time, no waiting, great work overall. Even the prices are reasonable. I only wish I had found R & D years ago!
